Japan
Welcome to Travel and Japan! This site was created to help others get the most out of their Japan experience. If you just want to visit or want to live and work in Japan this website has insight into getting the most from your adventure.
I’ve traveled most of my life but when I visited Japan for the first time I knew that it was the place I wanted to live so I started making arrangements and in 2014 I moved to Japan. After a rocky start and several bumps along the way, I was able to fulfill my dream of living in Japan.
Now I wake up in the land of the rising sun each day and I am happy. I ride the train, subway, and buses everywhere in Japan. I eat sushi and ramen when I like (oishi, yummy) and attend events like matsuri (festival) and sakura season (cherry blossoms).
What I share
My journey was incredibly difficult so I have firsthand experience that can help others to fulfill their dream. I want to share this information so others don’t go through the same struggles I did. I discuss several different topics like airlines, visa situation, my struggles and triumphs, items you need to feel comfortable, and so much more. Japan is not like your country no matter where you’re from. (except Japan of course) With helpful guidance, your adventure in the land of the rising sun will be a complete success.
Travel Background
I’ve traveled to 33 countries and 48 states of the United States. Visiting everything from battlegrounds lost in time, waterfalls so high that you’re on top of the world to the beach so I
can work on my tan and ancient city’s full of mystery. I came to Japan is 2014 and have lived in several different areas (currently in Tokyo) so I’ll share my experiences with you.
If you ever need a hand or have any questions, feel free to leave them below and I will be more than happy to help you out.
All the best,
Michael
